Our Mega-Premium Series uses NASA developed Visco "memory" foam. Visco foam has a firm surface that will mold to your body for deep comfort and support. NASA developed Visco Foam to protect shuttle astronauts from the stresses of blasting off the launch pad. Visco Foam is an amazing substance that responds to your body, bringing a new dimension of comfort for more restful sleep. As we sleep, the weight of our bodies is usually concentrated on several key pressure points: head, shoulders, tailbone or hipbones, and heels. As a result of uneven weight distribution, backaches, stiffness, and numbness can result. Blood flow to the areas under the most pressure becomes restricted. When those tissues get low on oxygen, they send a signal to the brain, causing you to roll over. While this is a pretty good system for keeping tissues alive, it's not good for a sound night's sleep! Visco Foam responds to pressure and your natural body heat to form a cocoon of even support, gently redistributing your body weight and relieving pressure points. You receive more support for your spine and other joints. When you move or arise, the Visco Foam slowly returns to its original shape. This unique Visco-elastic, temperature-sensitive foam actually conforms to the shape of your body. It's also naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and anti-fungal without the addition of chemical products.

We know that foam attracts and retains heat. So investigating and researching for the best insulator we found that the best insulator and heat displacement material available is wool. Initially, we thought that we would use some space-age synthetic filling as our comfort topper, however, time and time again our research ended with wool. We found that wool is a great insulator, and can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture, but will not feel moist to the touch. Wool will absorb moisture from the body overnight, and then evaporate it into the air during the day. That is why wool stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Because of its absorbability, wool is almost flame resistant.

In addition, our Mega-Premium density pads have larger magnets (1" x 1/4") than our other magnetic pads for more magnetic strength. Our magnets are facing Bio-North to help relieve pain. High quality Grade type "5" magnet. What makes our magnetic mattress pad so unique is that we started with comfort and durability in mind so our customers can feel satisfied with our products.

We use only disc magnets. Unlike all other shapes, discs create the purest most efficient magnetic field, resulting in the most therapeutic value for our customers. Magnetic Lines of Flux radiate in a curved shape. In square, rectangular or triangular magnets, the curved flux lines are disrupted, thereby reducing the magnetic force. These other shapes can be large, heavy magnets that look impressive but yield less magnetic force than an equal weight disc magnet. Using disc magnets allow us to make a lighter, stronger magnetic pad. Through our construction, we keep the magnets as close to the body as possible for maximum performance and all magnets are Bio-North facing the body. Our Visco, Mega Premium High Density and Premium magnetic mattress pads are 2" thick (most competitors have only 1" thick foam and are less comfortable). We also design these Pads to be about 1" in from the edge of the bed so the bed sheets will fit properly.
